A BOY NAMED SUE

Somethings are just wrong.
A boy named Sue is a fine example.
So is MC 1 going to school and telling everyone he got drunk.
We have only been there 2 weeks... rumors like that need to wait at least a month.
To explain, when we visit our oh so friendly dentist she has to give the boys a sedative before beginning reconstructing their mouths like Jaws from James Bond.
The sedative makes them very loopy and emotional (aka drunk).
Now I take full responsibility because when I was telling HH about it I said it made him drunk.
Connect the dots and we have MC 1 telling his new friends he got drunk. Twice.
So I insisted that he go back today and clarify, because apparently these little guys have a knowledge of alcohol that is way before their time and immediately went to beer.
It's kinda like the time he told his Kindergarten teacher that we threw dead cats in the woods. True but completely out of context.
Apparently these little guys also like to discuss the culinary skills of their parents as well. Except mine. While all the other boys were singing the praises of their mama's and daddy's steak and salad and what have you, mine is raving on about daddy's steak and nanny's green beans. Mom did not even make the cut. Mom is the best at stopping at the donut store. She does that very well!
Ya'll have a great weekend! Safe Labor Day!

Ok, that is hysterical!!! It is much like the time we were at some friend's house when my oldest was about 4 or 5, and they were making a smoothie in the blender and my sweet precocious child asked if they were making margaritas. Hmmmm........

Every single year when school started my dad would make a deal with all of our teachers (5 kids).

"You don't believe what the kids tell you about us and we won't believe what they tell us about you."

Awesome, dad.

That was funny!!!! I would have loved to have been in the classroom getting to hear all of these stories. I can only imagine what his teacher thinks of you!!!!
