Just remembered - in previously mentioned house fire- after the fire men arrived & where able to get in the house, the lone deer mount we had at the time was the FIRST thing out of the house.

This reminds me of the first time my boys saw a mounted animal head at our friend's house. My oldest was about 5 or 6 and he looked at our friends and asked, "Did they just throw him threw the wall??". As if the other half of the animal was sticking out the back side. We just weren't sure how to break it to him!
do they have names yet? surely mc 1 or 2 has named them, surely.
